Congratulations! Whether you are
pregnant or just thinking about it,
considering midwifery or doula care is a
step towards a fulfilling and empowering
pregnancy and birth. I follow the
Midwifery Model of Care, which is based
on the fact that pregnancy and birth are
normal life processes. I offer
homebirth, birth center and water birth
options, as well as doula services in a
home, birth center or hospital setting.
I would be happy to schedule an
interview to discuss my services in
detail.
I
believe a newborns first impression of
the world outside of the womb is
invaluable, and should be as soothing,
safe and reassuring as possible.
It is my goal to offer personalized
attention and support to new parents so
that they may get all the information
they need for an empowering birth
experience.
On a more personal
note, I am the proud mother of 14
beautiful children. Eight are
biological, six are adopted, all of
them are “my babies”! I attended my
first birth as a doula in 1989 and have been active in the field
of midwifery since 1991. I have a
true passion for the birth process, the
miracle of life and the joy of
parenthood at EVERY stage.
